saw only a few Husky fans at the Garden this past week. They were quiet, sad and obviously depressed with what miserable shape their program is. I could see them look around wistfully at the thousands and thousands of Orange fans enjoying 5 days in New York City. All of the press focused on Cuse vs Gtown and the making of of the Big East.

Now the poor husky faithful get to watch the selection show, fill out their brackets and choose upsets to root for. Too bad they weren't eligible because they likely would have been left out. While other schools look forward to every moment of the upcoming March Madness they can only root for upsets, hope for non rivals to win and dream of their miserable future.

However this future involves playing in a horrid cesspool of schools and trying to fill their perpetually half empty home court with the likes of Tulane, Central Florida, South Florida and Houston. Next year they will cringe when ESPN headlines match ups like Cuse vs UNC, Cuse vs Duke, Cuse vs ND and they lace up em up against the Green Wave. Exposure dips, recruits dry up and the only salvation will be to continue to offer their sub par services up to any conference which needs a warm body. Very sad to know that absolutely no one wants them.

So as Cuse fans and fans of 67 teams around the nation prepare for another exciting March lets all take a moment to have a laugh at the expense of the once proud Uconn team. They are now a Big East afterthought, a major conference afterthought and a completely unwanted "academic" institution. The end is very near and their fans know it.

So Husky fans enjoy watching March Madness, enjoy praying for upsets and enjoy dreaming up a future which does not exist.

Cuse!
