LB Elysee Mbem-Bosse (Cedar Grove)


Linebackers who have the versatility to stuff the run between the tackles and rush from the edge are as popular as ever these days and EMB fits that mold. The 6-foot-3, 230 pounder is a physical, downhill run stopper who appears to like contact on film. He has the speed and quickness to play in space, but he is at his best with his eyes in the backfield. Mbem-Bosse has the frame and length to rush the passer and to be a force player on the edge. The biggest reason he has a chance to be a fast riser in 2016 is his motor. He is a max-effort prospect who rarely gives up on a play. Ole Miss, Duke, and NC State have gotten involved early but more offers and notoriety are undoubtedly on the way.
