Class of 2015 LB Jordan Fox (NJ) Verbal to Stanford

CL do you think a good chunk of these NJ offers are contacts of the new TE coach? Or just good NJ kids?

Most of these kids that have been offered are all being well recruited. Doesn't mean that Coach Acosta doesn't have a relationship with these NJ HS coaches.

"Jordan Fox: This 6'3, 217-pound, three-star prospect from St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City seems like he could be a potential collegiate force.

Toddrick Hunt calls his change of direction the best of any linebacker in the state; add to that an ability to rush the passer and you've got someone who you should be happy if he comes to UW. He once had a top five of Boston College, Miami, Syracuse, Virginia and Virginia Tech, but recent offers from Wisconsin... and Louisville have thrown his recruitment wide open."

have to laugh at Toad's article. no mention of syracuse at the beginning:

"...is up to 15 offers after acquiring tenders from Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Louisville and UMass over the last couple weeks. However, Rutgers, Miami (Fla.), Boston College, Virginia and Virginia Tech are the schools that stand out to the talented junior as he warms up to the latest schools to join the race."

Oh then at the bottom of the article:

"Fox plans to visit Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami and Stanford over the summer."

If he's visiting a school on his own dime, I'd say they might stand out to him to. just sayin.

Linebacker is becoming a position I'm extremely excited to see the future of between the 2014 and '15 recruiting class.

Bobby Acosta is absolutely killing it. I don't care if he can't coach, he's been excellent thus far. Getting these kids on campus is starting to turn some heads. It's only a matter of time before we land a kid like this from NJ.
