LB Kadeem Trotter Transferred to South Dakota

I remember guys on this board saying him and Nada Fagan were gonna be better than Franklin and Bennett when he signed.

Another reminder to take board HS talent evaluations with a grain of salt b4 players hit the field in game action at the college level.

Way to many variables from the crop of recruits SU is picking from to determine talent level/ability at the college level.

It's fun and passes the time but reading the reviews of our last few transfers is eye opening.

Good luck to him wherever he lands.

fagan take was solely based on offers too

Makes sense with all the LB pick ups. I remember when he camped at SU. Very long and athletic kid. A lot up upside but it never materialized. Every roster has kids like this. I honestly think he never fully recovered from his knee injury he had his senior year. I hope the best for him.

Yup we all have hopeful predictions but when these kids step on the college campus and field other factors take into effect.

I mean Trotter was an athletic stud from a HS powerhouse, I think hype was partially warranted. Didn’t injuries hamper him early? I think it may be off base to question talent and ability when I think a lot of this has to do with his inability to gain the size the staffs have needed.

That’s too bad, I was pulling for him. Spring 2-deep had him backing up Linton, a freshman, at the SAM. Likely it wasnt going to happen for him. Best of luck, hope he finds a home he can get starter minutes.
