This is a tough group of players to crack into the two deep.couldn't possibly begin to speculate but it could be grade issues just the same.
From a depth chart perspective he's the lightest LB and the room is young but just based on the numbers it's surprising to me the depth chart is any reason to bail.
Wax and Thompson are starters for 3 more years barring injury. Jones hits the draft
Sparrow, Roon and McDonald look to have promising futures.
Mekhi Mason I've heard has been pretty good and will make a move up the depth chart.
