Now if you don't have much faith in the staff's (at any given time - they change) ability to evaluate talent, then I can understand the anxiety with landing prospects that don't have much in the way of other peer interest.  I think this staff is very good at identifying talent, especially on the defensive side of the ball, so for me, I'm fine with whomever they want to offer early.
