Houser is a terrific baseball player too. And while Wake’s football program is mediocre, its baseball program is top notch.

Both football and baseball are year round sports in college. Baseball schedule starts in Feb, season into may or june, and most guys play summer ball. there is also a fall baseball season. So quite a bit of overlap with competing conditioning requirements. so unless this kid is Bo jackson, would be tough to be competitive in both.
