Assuming by the responses of coaches wives that there is nothing else to the story. That's even more frustrating since it already seems like SU outside of the athletic department gives 2 $ about athletics.

Drastic times means drastic measures. If I was a teammate of Leauint I would really around him and threaten not to play because of the way the university is handling this. I would also be very public about it granting interviews to anybody interested and make a point to blame the University and not the AD. This is the only way to get through to people like that. If they dont budge and threaten your scholarship then transfer.  A public embarrassment of this student judicial body, dean of student, and chancellor should be an option. I know if it was a teammate of mine getting unjustly punished I would do whatever is necessary to make it right.
