I've always respected Miles doesn't seem like your typical coach ... seems like a rather genuine dude although at times he seems odd or at least makes odd decisions.
We need more guys like Les in coaching.Les is really a character - I think you guys are right, he's authentic and a lot less calculating in how he deals with the press than most coaches.
Here's a classic Les moment - his equivalent of "I'm a man, I'm 40!" that Gundy had a few years ago.
One of the local reporters had written a senior on the team - a 5 star recruit out of high school - was a "flop" during the week before the game.
So Les had that on his mind as he starts the post-game presser (stick around for the 1:20 mark when he goes in a totally different direction):
