Actually, he did a very good job during the first half of the season, when he managed to hold the team together through the toughest part of the season despite a huge number of distractions. But, boy, did he get totally outcoached in that last game! Hardheadedness is a bad trait in a coach, which gives me a bit of a pause for concern with Marrone.
