I just like and respect his overall demeanor. You never see him losing his cool or berating players. If Nick Saban was in the same situation and struggling against Syracuse in the Dome, he would be hyperventilating.

He seems like the consummate players coach and a guy I'd want to play for.

Les Miles is the man that followed the man. Our fans either love him or hate him, and I don't think there is any in between.

I live in oklahoma and liked what I saw of him at osu. Before he got there, a winning season depended on one thing only, and that was beating ou. They could lose every other game, but only that one mattered. He brought the mindset to the program and the fan base that they could win any game, and that a season was more than just the bedlam game.

Even with his faults, I fall into the love clm category. I had the honor of meeting the man once and he was a very genuine and down to earth person who took the time to really have conversation with me. I was impressed by that because I am not a high dollar donor that a coach has to schmooze.

I will be following syracuse now, because Shafer coached a great game. Every once in a while there is a game that is not just an entertaing game but one that impresses you. This was one of those games for me. It is nice to read those things about clm from some of you, since I have a respect for coach Shafer.

Oh, and the grass in tiger stadium does taste the best.;)

What you against snacking on our rubber Dome pellets?

How many times has LSU played for a national title in it's history? Half dozen or so?

Miles is responsible for a third of those appearances, I don't see how anyone in their right mind could hate him.
