This is usually something someone from the media finds out by now but for reason, I don’t think anyone has bothered to get the details on who is enrolling for the spring semester.

As far as I know, Andrews, Kerr and Carney are known to to early enrolles. I know some of you follow social media like a hawk or have inside info.

Last year we had 11 of the 18 members of the class enroll early. I suspect a similar percentage for this class.

Let’s try and track things in this thread and hope it helps spur someone to write a column and get official word out.

Great to see QB Luke Carney as a Jan. enrollee , also I read that transfer QB Ricky Collins is practicing with the team in San Diego and I am certain Jakhari Williams is making the most of the practices leading up to this bowl game. Again Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all.

Yup. Last year all the transfers enrolled for the spring semester and I wouid expect that to be the case again this year.

For those who don't read the recruiting board have fun looking that dude up. Already physically ready to go. He is jacked.

I'm actually a little worried about him... Considering how jacked he is, he's still only listed at 225, which is a bit light for an ACC linebacker.

How much bigger can he actually get, considering he looks like 1983 Schwarzenegger already?

On the other hand, he runs a 4.6 and had 17 P5 offers, so what do I know?

Fair enough... 235 lbs would put him in the Wax, Sparrow, and McDonald territory. Barron played some lb at 225 as well.

As long as we have big linemen taking up the blockers, he doesn't have to be huge to play middle linebacker for us.

I take back my concern, even if the 225lb I saw earlier is correct.

EDIT: It appears the average weight of even NFL linebackers has dropped significantly. In 2013 only 19 LB under 240 played significantly... In 2024 50 under 240lb played.

Speed must be playing a premium at linebacker in the high stakes passing games these days.
