Im confused. It seems that our O is attempting to run for the most part the UCLA O. If that is the case this has to be a major departure from the plan our first year as Drew sure as heck wasnt given the starting job because of his running ability. So what are we? Do we really need a dual threat QB and if so is it more imporant in this UCLA O to have a QB who can throw the ball or run? Hunt in my opinion is a RB who has a strong Arm. If we are to improve he is going to have to make huge strides as a passer. For my part i want to see more of a vertical game. One that takes advantage of the hash marks vs the sidelines. In watching yesterdays game it was evident that they were keeping Hunt in the pocket. By playing a horizontal passing game it allowed them to keep the backers home. The few times we used the seams with the TE's it opened them up, forced them to commit to the TE's which in turn gave Hunt a lane. Going forward we have to engage the LB's. I like the UCLA O but without a true dual threat QB it is flawed as it becomes extremely one dimentional. Lets hope that Hunt continues to improve his passing
