With such a weak OOC schedule, and the fact that the ACC is not anything close to a gauntlet type football league, getting to 6 wins in YEAR 6 shouldn't really be considered such a feat.  BC, Wake and the like are getting to bowl games, and relatively consistently at that.  We should at a minimum, be able to have those same expectations.

It's great being in a P5 conference, taking all that coin, etc. from the ACC invite/winfall (which every single fan of SU sports should be forever grateful for and never lose sight of that IMO).  If we are going to pitch to recruits, etc. being in one, then we should at least act as if we are.  Otherwise, SU Football is a fraud and we should be exposed accordingly for being precisely that.

My goodness, if we hadn't been so fortunate for the good graces of the ACC, Syracuse University Football, no doubt IMO, would be right there with UConn...descending further and further into the abyss...dead & buried.
