The ACC controls some of the top media markets in the country and has an affluent grad base something that does matter with advertisers. ESPN hasnt thrown the entire weight of its Network behind the ACC on a whim. The dust bowl is not a long term competitor to the Eastern seaboard. Never has been and never will be.
