Palmer blocks down and then kicks out to block a linebacker. The backer is actually flowing towards Lewis so then Palmer looks to block someone else but the safety read the fake immediately and is crashing almost at full speed.  This can not be on Palmer unless it was Palmer’s job not to seal but to peel off looking for a DB.

The truly sad part of the play is that Lewis might have scored if he kept the ball.  The DB’s dropped back into the endzone.  The left end was engaged and the MLB was also about to be blocked by Emerich.  Look how much green is on that side when Lewis hands the ball off.  Lewis would’ve actually got around the end on the play.
