that I didn't take note of at the time

  • Scoop passed the 600 career assist mark against UNCA and sits at 609 after KState. He is averaging 7.5 apg in the tourney so far; if he can keep up that pace and the Orange play to the final, he could pass Autry and Pearl and end up just behind Gerry for 4th all time (he's 22 behind Red and 28 behind Pearl)
  • Kris moved into 25th place on the all time scoring list. Again, depending on how deep the Orange go, he has an outside shot at making the top 20 (he needs 45 more points)
  • Brandon is just 6 points away from joining the career 1000 point club. Syracuse currently has 56 career 1000 point scorers, fifth most in the NCAA. We are two behind Kentucky, which won't be adding many more as long as they are hosting Coach Cal's One-and-Done Emporium (although the Orange probably won't see another one until CJ Fair's senior season, unless Waiters defies expectations and returns or Southerland has a huge senior year)

Moqui, have we ever had three 1,000 pts scorers in the same season? That's got to be a rarity these days...

I think all of 88, 89 and 90 with combinations of Seikaly, Douglas, Coleman, Thompson and Owens

Hart, Blackwell and Thomas

and I think Flynn, Harris and Devo

Did you hear on the game Sat, that Waiters is the first ever non-starter to reach over 600 pts by his sophmore year? If he stays around he'll be over 1000 probably early into the BE schedule.

I think it was only non starter over the last 2 years, not necessarily ever.
