I live in central VA. I have a Syracuse license plate. All of my friends, neighbors and parents at my kids school know I am Cuse guy.
I was shunned by friends and strangers alike yesterday. The hateful glances and stunned silence brought many a smile to my face throughout the day. Man it feels good to own Virginia! The alternative certainly would have sucked.
As a bonus, I can finally shed that Richmond yoke I've been burdened with all these years. The number of times I've been subject to a knowing grin and the comment - "Oh, you're a Syracuse guy, do you remember the Richmond game?"
Listening to the local sports radio, most UVA fans are hanging their hats on our violations/punishment and comparing us to the Tarheels. #Bitter
