I am sure you guys will drop the hammer on us in basketball to return the favor this year.

I am curious as to why most cuse fans thought the dome and the heat were going to be a factor? Most of our players are from SC,GA,FL. Not sure if you guys come down this way much but it was a cool 88 down here in SC today. We live in the humidity.

Anyway, I just wanted to come on and rag you guys a little bit but also welcome you to the ACC and look forward to giving you all the same hospitality when you head down to death valley next year.

I made that post - and that was the alcohol talking.

The Dome air is hot stale and humid on days like this. No AC, ironically.

As far as the southeast I spend a week in August in SC a year, and the high school football reports always seem to have kids having tragedies with the heat. So it's not like you're immune to it.

As a Carolina, that is God's truth. Clemson are double tough in Littlejohn Coliseum.

Their crowd will be LOUD, and, into the game from the outset. Its a great atmosphere.

Our basketball team is in a complete rebuild mode. Similar to todays game, we just don't have the horses to be a threat in the ACC for round ball.

I cant wait for the cuse,duke,unc rivalries to begin.

I had a conversation with a couple of Clemson fans at halftime. They were real good guys. Told my son to cheer up because their football team will score more points in a half than the basketball team will. Said we'll get payback, and then some. They thought the Dome was great. Both were originally disappointed when they found out their tickets were in section 315 but realized that any seat in the Dome is awesome for football. 315 in the Dome is like 215 in an big outdoor stadium.

They added that they'll be cheering for us in hoops and hope we take down UNC and Duke.

Have some faith in your team man. I knew Syracuse probably wasn't going to win but I always have faith that they can pull off an upset.
