Will be pretty different - I'm sure we all expect a dropoff. We will lose 8 guys (I would guess Esk is 97% gone based on the stuff he posts) and our LBs will not be as good. I think they should look into moving Whigham into Eskridge's old spot. They both have similar frames and Whigham gets beat like a drum off the line. I bet hodge moves outside but not sure who takes the other outside LB spot. Amongst all of the empty spots I think one thing is for certain, the staff NEEDS to find a way to keep thompson at DE. The kid is finding his potential there and they need to have him dedicated to being a good edge rusher.

If we had any type of competent offense then this team looks so different. Next year will be a rough one unless miracles start to happen.

Raymon, and Williams will be a real load in the middle, Thompson, and Johnson will be back at their best positions at DE.

The makeup of our DL is much different next year-Where our numbers were at DE this year, next year the numbers will be at DT (assuming Sloan doesn't punch anyone else out), so i believe Johnson and Thompson should be at DE.

Sloan won't be back-especially after that nonsense at BC. I think some people underestimate the loss of Crume. I'd really like to see something from Williams before I feel the NT position is safe in his hands.

Hopefully Raymon is healthy enough next year and the young guys are ready to play.

Agree with most of your thoughts but feel we can be very good with this line up. I think Hodge was actually better outside and #45 Franklin I think will be a monster at the middle. Agree on Whigham and he has the hands to intercept more passes than years previous at that position and with Thompson having to stay outside at DE. Other empty spots will be in large the DBs'/CB's and I'm unsure if what is coming up the pike. I think with better recruiting in recent years this may not be the drop off some are expecting.

Someone needs to put Daoust on a jet this week. I'm sure there are a few UAB players who could help.

I like Raymon but I'm not sure about his durability. Let's home Rodney Williams is the real deal...I wish they redshirted Desir
