Tedarius Hughes​

I believe Hughes will be our starting safety next year. He’s lengthy and rangy, which gives him great potential in coverage. The only thing that might hold him back initially when he arrives on campus is his weight. According to Syracuse Athletics, he currently weighs 180 pounds, but I think he’ll need to get up to around 195 to compete and play right away. Once he fills out, I believe he can be a true ball-hawking safety who also hits hard downhill when needed.

They're crutches. But those definitely look like explosions of pain all around the leg.

Ugh. Not a good start for someone who is getting here early and we hoped would get up to speed and contribute early.

Was hoping it may just be a clean up type of surgery after the season but from looking at stats on MaxPreps and hudl highlights it appears his last game was likely 11/29 vs Central. I think he missed the 12/5 and 12/12 games vs Bishop Moore and Raines.

Sucks but in my opinion we should redshirt him this year and have him ready for 2027. Give him as much time as possible for recover.

No clue I assume it was a knee since he had surgery and u can see the stuff holding his knee together. I would say recover the whole year and don’t rush him back.
