Yes, I was just as excited as all of you heading into Clemson. Was I disappointed? Yupp, but deep down I knew we had a very slim chance. I would have liked us to keep it closer the first half, but enough dwelling on the past..
I think we have a very good shot this weekend to get a W. This could be a very pivotal game for us this season. A win could be crucial. The sounds of it as of now is that their good QB will still be out for this game but I'm not sure. Anyone have any solid info on this?
I'm excited to see what whigham, reddish, and morgan can do in that corner slot even though I'm sure we will miss lyn. Anderson scares me every passing down and has for a long time. I don't get why people still think he's good. He can tackle but in coverage he gives the guy 5-7 yards and lets the WR run by him before even turning his hips.. Reddish and Whigham need to be in on passing downs this weekend or he will get toasted again. I liked what I saw from Desir and Kelly and I hope they get more run on passing downs. Looked so much better than the alternative in passing situations.
On offense I really hope we pound Jerome down their throats this weekend. There is absolutely no reason PTG should be getting more carries than him. NONE. I'm sick of PTG getting tackled for 4 yard losses with his dancing on sweeps. CUT IT UP.
On another note let's actually run the zone read with Hunt and keep the defense honest. We are going to have to keep the defensive line thinking this weekend or we will have to get the ball out real quick.
