With NSD coming up I decided it was as good a time as any to look back at star ratings at various levels of college football success. I went back and looked at the last eight Heisman winners, the 2014 AP All-America first team, the All-ACC first team, and the 2014 NFL Draft first round picks.
Needless to say, I've spent way too much time on this today, so I hope you'll give it a look. I found the results pretty interesting, although not entirely surprising. Generally, recruits fall in the 3.5-4.0 star range at all four of the levels I looked at.
