I know a woman who has no idea why but suddenly while driving she had a panic attack driving over a bridge at the age of 42. It's changed her and her entire family's life. She refuses to drive nor be driven over any bridge. The family has to plot ways to avoid any bridge, large or small, heading anywhere. If she's unsure she refuses to go, says she just can't.
