and maybe SDSU although after losing to New Mexico I don't see them having as good an overall resume as the other four teams.

Iowa State winning the Big 12 clinches a 3 seed for them.

Obviously Michigan State will have to win the Big Ten championship tomorrow to have a good chance. If they lose to Michigan I think it comes down to Syracuse, Cinci and Creighton.

If you ask Jerry Palm Cincinnati gets the 3 ahead of Syracuse but I don't see how that's possible. But what the hell do I know.

This is how I see the Top 20 going into tomorrow.

1. *Florida
2. Wichita State
3. Arizona
4. Villanova
5. *Michigan (moves to #4 with a win)
6. *Duke (moves to #4 with win and Michigan loss)
7. Kansas
8. Wisconsin
9. Louisville
10. Iowa State
11. *Virginia (moves to #8 with win)
12. Creighton OR Syracuse OR Cincinnati
13. Cincinnati OR Syracuse OR Creighton
14. Syracuse OR Creighton OR Cincinnati
15. San Diego State
16. *Michigan State (moves as high as #12 with win)
17. UCLA
18. New Mexico
19. VCU
20. North Carolina

Whatever, I don't care what they're seeded as long as they're in Buffalo.

* Still playing

I think it's between SU and Mich St. Pretty simple: MSU wins tomorrow, they get it.

I don't see how Lville can be ranked ahead of us, our resume is much stronger.

Going to depend on how much the committee values a) resume, b) eye test, and c) momentum.

If they're more about (a) than they are (b) and (c) then you might be right.

AAC regular season and conference title and our current play put them over us and they have more top 25 rpi wins

RPI top 50/ 51-100

Syracuse 7-2, 8-1
Michigan St 5-6, 5-2
Cincy 6-5, 3-1

The problem is that SU is 2-5 in last 7 games. MSU is 4-3 with win over Wisconsin which is a better win than we have.

I don't think it is that simple. You have to think like a committee member... be "efficient". You don't want a #1 seed contingency, that feeds down and affects the 3/4 line as well. An extra layer of potential issues.

You just make the call on Syracuse/Michigan St before 1:00 and it makes your life easier for the rest of the day.

You're assuming they will wait until 5:30 for that game to be over. They've admitted in the past they won't wait for the B1G title game to be done before they finish the bracket. Whatever decision is made about seeding SU and Mich St. will be made before that B1G title gamet tips off.

Didn't they put an end to that when they took some heat for it?
