Great, let the bad news snowball begin, hope it is not a big deal but he has really been playing well. Anybody hear anything? Injury? Discipline issue?
Have you not followed this team at all over the years? There is a reason for assuming the worst - it usually happens.i didn't see anything on syracuse.com about him missing the game saturday, uou guys jump to the worst conclusions on here, it cracks me up... did you think it might be classes, they are college students too

Did we neglect going to class?Great, let the bad news snowball begin, hope it is not a big deal but he has really been playing well. Anybody hear anything? Injury? Discipline issue?
Oh great Reddish is the only CB we got that I have any confidence in. So of course the dude has to be out. Without Reddish our secondary goes from C- to IMO. Lyn and Anderson get destroyed in coverage and have to give huge cushions which allow for a lot of quick WR screens or slants. Reddish is probably the #1 or at worst #2 defender we couldn't afford to lose. It depends on whether you think Dyshawn Davis is #1 or #2.
You realize we're giving up only 165 per game passing yards, right? Anderson has been the only CB that has struggled, Keon was fantastic last game and has been solid in the other two.Oh great Reddish is the only CB we got that I have any confidence in. Stony Brook wasn't a passing team. USC could have thrown all day on our defense if they had wanted too, and Northwestern had a running quarterback. Our pass defense is sub-par even with Reddish who I think is an NFL talent. Your right about Sharmarko I am wrong about that. Sprull as well, but Reddish not playing really kills our secondary. Lyn may have played well against Stony Brook but how many times did throw? 15 times? and how many open drops did SB have in that game. Our CBs opposite Reddish are going to picked on all season, and they aren't that consistent. You realize we're giving up only 165 per game passing yards, right? Shamarko's the #1 most important at this point. Spruill is up there, Bromley is up there, so is Goggins. A guy (Davis) that has a very good backup in Cam Lynch is not the #1/#2 defender we can't afford to lose. Neither is Reddish.

Reddish, not playing, would be a big loss. As far as Davis goes, he's spent the last ten games trying to duplicate last years Rutgers hi-lite hit. He makes initial contact with his shoulder pads but his arms are at his sides. Wrap up. Back to the secondary, Morgan will be a real good player for us, you can see it on specials, it would not surprise me to see him perform well. Whigham is the real deal too. Watched him in H.S. The kid was always around the ball. I don't know if they burned his red-shirt or not. In the game though, not having Reddish would be a factor. In my opinion, he's our best corner. And it's not close.
I agree about Morgan. He can't be any worse than Anderson, probably an upgrade if anything.Lets hope he just had some classroom obligations and will still be playing on Saturday. Me thinks he'd be at practice unless he was in class, has serious injury or was being suspended/quit.
I'd understand if the starters are Lynn / Anderson but I'm looking forward to seeing Wayne Morgan getting his feet wet at cornerback. I'd prefer they can get by without burning Whigham's shirt.
Could also move Wilkes or Desir over and start Eskeridge at safety.
Where the heck is Jaston George?
