Lots of cap space opening up at UK according to PayPalCal

Funny quote out of Duke after their title, "we don't rent players". Ouch.

So from the FF teams, Harrison x 2, WCS, Towns, Lyels, Jones, Okafor, Winslow, Decker . . . . . . possibly Booker and Johnson.

thats 9-11 from 3 teams.

That was Bo Ryan,in reference to Duke.
I should have said "about" instead of "out of". The funny part about it is that this isn't normally Duke's MO. It's Kentucky's MO every year.

That's either the most miraculous recruiting haul in history [by edit, for the Kentucky guys], or ...

Well, the names cover 3 teams--UK, Duke and Wisky.
True, but Calipari loads up with 1/done's every year. The ones who stay are either hurt or stalling to pump up their draft stock.

We won't know for sure for a couple of years, but it looks like K may be emulating Cal.

They've gone back and forth with it. Before the one and done era they lost a number of guys after their sophomore year, some of which K openly disagreed with and then they had Parker last year.

I'd like to see how Cal's annual salary stacks up against the rest of the Kentucky faculty's payroll. lol

And it's no secret that K has recruited players that have jumped, as have JB and other coaches that don't run programs like Kentucky's. The difference is that the players who come to Duke, Syracuse and the other schools are recruited as, and expected to act like, student athletes attending real classes.

lol
The thread link says that, according to PayPal, Kentucky could loose 7 (that's SEVEN) players to the NBA this year alone. That gets an LOL from me.

Oh man, I totally disagree. Dakari Johnson as a late 1st rounder or 2nd rounder is a STEAL. That dude would have torn it up had he gone anywhere else.

Perhaps but what I have seen from him at UK makes me believe he will struggle in the NBA. He doesn't really play above the rim, they don't let you ram/dislodge defenders in the post anymore in the association (his most common move) and he isn't very fleet of foot. He's big, young and talented I'm just not sure he will have success in the association.

That description sounds eerily similar to a certain SU basketball player with the initials D.C.

But he is still in school and smaller but with better ball skills. I expect Coleman to be productive if he can stay healthy. I also look forward to him firing up his team mates which is something we have lacked on the floor since Dion and MCW left IMO.

Which makes him an AWESOME end of 1st round or 2nd round draft pick.
