I never base a prediction off the week before.  It's the body of work and the matchup I try to look it.  You can't predict the intangibles though like special teams, turnovers, big plays etc.  Just some quick reasons here nothing in depth:

I like the matchup

LVille – frosh QB I expect him to get hit early and often and rattled.

we’re moving the ball, now I expect to finally score some points.

Concerns – LVille has a stout defense.  We’re injury plagued with key players.  I still like us to win this one.

**Syracuse is a better team than most think.  LVille isn't as good as most think.  Two fairly matched teams.  (same with Maryland whom we dominated but lost badly - too many mistakes.)  Are the mistakes a trend or an anomaly?  Some are a trend for sure.  Some are correctable.

I'm throwing it out and I just think Syracuse plays well.  Friday night juice.  Expect the team to come out amped and play with a chip.  Score points.  They have a lot to lose and they know it.  Gut check time.
