Louisville Is Going Undefeated??

Beat Vanderbilt and Memphis?

Wow. I think Westhill beat Vanderbilt last night.

He will learn, the hard way I'm afraid.

With the "Point blank. Period." I thought it was Scoop for a second!

If there is anything that Syracuse fans have absolutley nothing desparaging to say about, it should be Louisville Basketball. That is, until we finally beat them again. They have a very good team and I am of the not-so-humble opinion that Syracuse and Louisville are the two deepest and most talented teams in the country. I for one am hoping that my trip down 2-13-12 sees undefeated #1 Syracuse @ undefeated #2 UofL

Gotta get through Pitt first .. damn I hate that team ..

at least all these talking heads would know that we were by far the best team in the country by that time. ESPN instant classic.

Lville games are absolute nightmare for us. I'm just hoping Boeheim does somethng different real quick, press in first half, go man, play 3 guards... ANYTHING. They owned us for years many of which we had by far the higher ranking and more talent. I just don't know anymore.

Obviosuly start out playing as we always have this season but if no success after 10 mins we need to switch it up in a big way. I want 'Cuse to be their first loss :D

UofL isn't going undefeated, but I don't mind the kid having that type of attitude.

I'm looking forward to the Lville @ UK game on New Year's Eve. That should tell us a lot about both of those teams.

Louisville is going undeafeated is as likely as

Catherine Zeta Jones becoming my future wife

I hear ya DNabb. With Kevin Ware now playing and when Blackshear comes back, they will be a very deep and extremely talented team. However, I sure hope SU can beat them this year. Should be an outstanding game. I hope to be at the game too. I'm also sure hoping UofL can beat UK before that.

Agree however the guard play from Pitt is so awful this year I really believe Dion, Scoop, and Triche have a field day on 1/16/12.

I think there is too much put into our woes against L'Ville. Every team has bad match ups and they are ours. Every player Pitino recruits is between 6'5'' and 6'8'' can pass and shoot the 3. Over time there are going to be games that those 3's don't fall (hence their tournament woes) and games will be lost. In the end it's just a bad situation for our zone. They often have 3 different guys they can put at the foul line and they find open shooters well when we collapse. L'Ville rarely has that one guy we need to stop which also works against us. Each component of their team is exactly what is necessary to get good looks against a 2-3.

Every player on every team should feel that way or not play.
And every NFL team should think they're the "Dream Team" too, right? That didn't work out so well for the Eagles. Open mouth, insert foot.

Please, Please Please consider coming to Louisville for the game!!! I know its not that close and tickets won't be cheap but it would be great to have a large Orange showing. The YUM center is a great new arena to watch a game at and this may be the last year SU visits. It has been a tough few years living in Louisville and I'm looking forward to the misery ending!

I get what your saying but I think there is a huge difference in the two comments made. I think one is trying to say his team is being under ranked and not having enough respect while Vince Young is just a tool bag who compared his team to the greatest team to ever touch a olympic basketball court.

Sounds like the comments of a team that is going to look past College of Charleston and lose tonight.

For the record, "large Orange Showing" in the YUM! would be about 250 fans absolute tops. We had at least 4000 in RBC. There just isn't the Cuse fans here of in the midwest in general as there are in NC/NYC.

Plus, I'm not sure that you are aware how passionate 'Ville fans are. It will be a VERY tough ticket to procure and not cheap at all. They have been in the top 3 in attendance for 30 years too.

We'll have some smatterings, but you won't be hearing an LGO on TV unless we're winning by 20 in the last minute and their fans all left. That or I get into too much bourbon. (I recently learned that I am obnoxious)

This. I've live here 20 years and its damn near impossible to get a ticket - secondary market only $$$. Every time I have attended a game here we have lost except for the football games in '92 and '07.
