One pet peeve...wish they would rearrange it so that you don't see the video of the team storming onto the field at the open but rather at the very end, when the actual team storms the field. The highlights and history should sere as the buildup. That should serve as the climax.

Still though, way better than tissue paper hanging from piping.

I actually liked last year's much better. Still, it's better than what we used to have.

I still would like to see an NFL Films style video - you could start out by having a John Facenda like voice giving some facts that are pretty impressive, but that a lot of people don't know like 15th winningst program and 8th most all americans. Then move to quick vintage video clips of SU greats doing their thing, Ernie getting the Heisman, etc. gradually building up to present day.

They did something similar to that with the BB intro video last season and it was really impressive.

Like this, with a few edits:

The train stuff is cool, but the older video is so much better than the new one.

Wow, that is what I was talking about right there - thanks for digging that up! I didn't realize that it had already been done that way...if watching that video doesn't make you want to suit up and go drill somebody I don't know what will. Like you said, with a few edits they could use that as a template for a long time.

It's nice to show the visiting fans that have no clue how impressive a history Syracuse football has.

I would love this too...but the big complaint is that students dont understand or care about tradition or history. I say screw the students.
