In the first 24 hours that the transfer portal was open, Syracuse already added depth to its defensive backfield by adding Notre Dame transfer Clarence Lewis.
Lewis announced his decision to transfer to Syracuse on Tuesday. Brown could not discuss Lewis’ announcement directly because of NCAA rules but responded positively when told that the defensive back had declared a commitment to Syracuse.
“That’s what’s up,” Brown said.
