The flight to Denver does offer additional opportunities for connections, but and it's a big but, there are almost always better price/time options via ORD. If you are coming from anywhere but Denver inbound to Syracuse, well you are SOL. It is not possible to connect to the Denver flight to go to Syracuse as it leaves too early. Major bummer.
