LSU changing defense?

It's unlikely you'll see huge changes this year, as LSU just doesn't have enough LB's to make the change, or enough big guys to move to DE. In 2015 you'll see a mix of fronts, probably with more 3-4 than last year.

By the time you guys visit Baton Rouge, LSU probably will be a predominantly 3-4 defense, based upon current recruiting trends.

"Lost" implies change wasn't desired. Chavis had a ton of detractors. Lots of prevent d disasters and he doesn't recruit. They replaced him with an Alabama assistant and orgeron, both recruiters. Will net out nicely for the tigers, I think.

Since that's predicated on hoping the opponent misses wide open targets - it's actually a pretty smart strategy against us.

2-3 zone is 4 more players than needed to play defense against us -
from what i understand they are just going to station a punter on the goal line we are supposed to cross- that alone will scare away any chance we have to score
