Yea so I haven't posted or been on the board in hot minute.
When it was first announced the game @LSU was something I could look forward to. I was a firm believer in SS and Terrell Hunt was about to have a spectacular season in my mind. I don't have to revisit the events surrounding Syracuse Football, however, suffice it to say that the 2014 season killed me. So freaking close to beating somebody that anyone cared about, but the offense was just...bad. Terrible to watch.
Now a little old history...in 2003 I called the pitch Arron @#$% Boone would hit it off Wakeman and walked out as the lone Sox fan in a room full of yank fans. I told most of those same people the Red Sox would beat them in the 2004 ALCS because I would not would be able see it (willed trip to Europe) I think I posted that Red Sox Jesus story here at one point, pretty sure it was still scout then.
Now, I know its not popular at this point, but I've been a Pats fan since 1981 and while I saw them beat Carolina, Philly and St. Louis and Seattle, I also saw them lose to the Giants spectacularly twice and was offered a gig during the 2017 Superbowl and chose to miss it under that 2004 principle successfully.
So...that brings me to back to LSU. The 20th anniversary of Tebucky Jones picking off Shaun King on the last play to beat Tulane 30-19 also happens to my by 20th wedding anniversary (only game I missed in a 12 year span) and as such we wanted to take a vacation. I decided we'd extend a little longer so I could miss the LSU game. On purpose.
