LSU Fans Getting Fired Up!

TD is a pretty fun board. We actually have had a few Cuse posters for a few years now. The site was successful enough to have a spin off site (SECrant.com), and most visiting fans tend to stick around do to the amount of traffic the board has. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get rid of the OSU fans that have been sticking around since 2007. The "More Sports Board" is a great board where opposing fans tend to hang around, as well as the "OT Lounge" where just about anything goes.

Looks like an enthusiastic bunch. I'm not going to join the site, but some look to be concerned about getting from the Armory to the Hill before the game - maybe somebody could tell them that it's a fairly easy and safe walk? Only about 25 minutes, and there are sure to be a lot of people on the route, since LSU's alumni group is said to be throwing a large tailgate at the OnCenter lot, about a third of the way from the Armory to the Dome.

(Also, open container rules are lax around campus on game days but they might be enforced on downtown streets.)

our New Orleans contingent has run into many problems with open containers, as we have no open container laws here

I was once approached by a policeman on the streets of San Francisco while drinking a beer. When he was writing my information on the ticket and realized where I was from, he ripped up the ticket and said, "Look, I am gonna let you slide, just know that that isn't allowed here". I knew it wasn't allowed, but I sometimes just forget where I am at and walk on up out of the bar with a beer in my hand.

Usually a little more lenient for people walking to the dome from near campus, but anywhere else at night, definitely be smart with open containers.

something we do for every opposing QB. it was funnier at the start of the week when we had no clue who was actually going to be playing QB
I think its beautiful

I had fun in New Orleans with a group of LSU fans on a weekend they were playing Florida and we were in town playing Tulane...that is once they realized my orange wasn't florida orange...one of my best road trips ever.

Was in New Orleans for that same Tulane weekend. Bourbon was pretty epic on that Friday night before LSU-UF.

Reminds me the Chapelle bit.

Also if you think our board meltdowns are bad you should check out TD after we win on Saturday.

Doug Marrone may be poison to SU fans at this point, but I was so honored to have a beer with him on Bourbon Street, then to meet Floyd Little & his wife when strolling. It was a great nite. I'd love to have the intensity of the LSU - UF rivalry. I was juiced for Tulane but those guys were on a whole different level. It reminded me of the Georgetown/Syracuse rivalry in basketball.

Some clever responses, some not so clever.

Great thread...we might consider a similar thread for 4net
Got to admit that this one is pretty good...

Zach Mahoney sharted his pants when he heard he was starting this Saturday.

In honor of Zach Mahoney, the Syracuse Orange are now the Syracuse Brown.
