I've had some guilt over the years for hating noon games so much. College football is played at noon on saturdays, who am i to not like that? but i don't like it.

i feel a lot better talking to LSU fans who are even more against nooners than I am.

To them, it was 11 AM. ;)

I was happy that the game was at 12. We have played 3 in a row at 12. They usually play at night. Any advantage, however small, I am in favor of.

My son lives in Hawaii and the game was on live at 6 a.m. He didn't have any problem with it.

I don't have a problem with a noon game. I do have a problem with so many. Pitt will likely be T noon too which would make 4 straight home nooners.

Why will it likely be noon? We could be 5-1 and Pitt could be 4-2. That doesn't scream noon to me.

As an out of towner who can't occupy his time on gameday with anything that doesn't involve alcohol, I hate nooners when I'm attending the game.

As an out of towner who can't go to all the games, and has at least one child who is still in napping range, the nooners work quite well when I'm watching on TV.

It's conflicting, so what I'd prefer is that they find out when I'm going to a game, and make that game a 3:30 or later start.

Nothing better than Syracuse University Football at night in the Dome.

Someone posted someplace that we've played Pitt at noon almost always. Just playing those odds.

Living in the mountain time zone, noon eastern games are the best.

Set your watch to a 12:30 start.

Be pleasantly surprised otherwise. But if I were setting expectations...

I don't understand why ESPN doesn't stagger starts. I love that the NCAAT now has all different start times. It allows you to watch the endings of all games. I wish they would do that for football. I usually end up watching ESPN Goaline so I don't have to switch around. They have ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN News, SECN, and ABC that they show games on. Why show all games at 12, 3:30, and 7? Why not a couple at 12, 1, 2 then 3:30, 4:30, 5:30 then 7, 8, 9?

8am for me. I was able to run to the bar at halftime, as they let me in an hour early. Noon (8am) games are a real bummer in my neck of the woods.

best chance we will ever have at getting GameDay, is for both us and pitt to be undefeated at like 5 or 6 & 0 in early october, as they throw the ole Nor'Eastern stallwarts a bone...

it will probably be an @pitt game :bang::bang::bang:

Beglad we didn't end up in the Big 10 then. Nooners (11 AM for half of the conference) are commonplace. Hell this week two of the biggest games in the Big 10 with Wisky vs Iowa and Minnesota vs NW are at 11 AM central time and then the Big 10 has the stupid rule where they don't allow nightgames past mid October because of weather concerns or something.

If we are ESPN or ABC I don't mind the nooner but the RSN and ACCN noners blow.

Big 10 has a lot of night games as well, ever since BTN.

They don't seem to have much in the middle. It's either noon, or 8 pm.

gotta chuckle at LSU fans talking about how loud it was. they don't know what loud is
except that we play in what is widely considered the loudest stadium in college football

personally, I don't mind early games.....when we play on the road. for home games, we prefer nights games because:

A) it is not as hot
B) tailgating is an art form for us, and the more time to do it the better. Our tailgate starts at 6AM regardless of the kickoff time.

Don't tell that to Clemson fans. They through a hissy fit when someone said we might be louder.

when there are people in the dome, you don't get any louder. that hasn't happened much recently. don't take it personal, it's just having a lot of people under a roof. i'm sure you can whoop really loud

they won't believe me when I say it, so I let other people say it

and all of these were before our recent expansion which closed in an endzone around the upper level, and added seats pushing capacity to 102,000
