This could be scary, glad they are not in the schedule next season. Or prob for a while.

why would they have so many unused ones.. how many left early..

they got a lot of hype for not winning games last year and losing 2 this yr they should not have lost too.

Why not Howell is a high end college QB. Makes plenty of sense. We didn't have a tough time getting a transfer QB with SEC experience.

UNC is awful though if they are favored and playing a lesser team they only play well games they are tested.

UNC showed me something in that Orange Bowl I thought they were going to get crushed.

can take 25 kids and they signed 18 from what I could find.

Dabo should be looking for UMASS assistant gigs. Gotta get on that train early
You have no vision in the paint. Mack came out of retirement to finish what he started at UNC before he went to Texas and retooled that dynastic program. I get spoofed often for my unorthodox takes on things like UMASS. Another idea I put forth, playing a series with the UB Bulls with the road games at New Era was lampooned as well because the smart people said no Bulls fans would go, but I'll bet you that stadium would be full after UB's current run of success.

Mack Brown at UNC Part Deux and Herm Edwards were two hires that almost everyone thought would be a failure (including me) and were wrong.

The thing with Herm is he is has surrounded himself with a good staff and he is one of those guys that people say will resonate with recruits etc and actually does. He has the NFL and ESPN resume, personality and actually gives a rats arse about the kids. ( ** at least he appears to) Herm also isn't married to one system etc, does what works. He's rolled with the punches as he figures out the college game, dare I say a coach that may be a bit flexible? Imagine that.

Mack is just a good ole boy that is loved by everyone and now that he is older it works even better for him. He's a great head guy who probably relies a lot on his staff for day to day. He's just the rainmaker for recruits, the closer etc. I bet UNC is paying good money for assistants. They are also starting to keep the best NC talent home too, which is huge.
