The Cougars ran for 550 yards on the Longhorns and beat them 40-21. I don't know how many four stars Mississippi had, (probably similar to BYU), but they just beat the Longhorns by 44-23. They didn't gain as much as BYU, (272 rushing, 448 overall), but scored the last 30 points of the game.

But what got me was this little nugget of information Brown tried to recruit both Robert Griffin III and Johnny Manziel to Texas but as defensive backs. They wanted to play quarterback and so went to Baylor and Texas A&M- and won the last two Heisman trophies. Can you imagine what Texas would have been like with all that talent and first Griffin, then Manziel as their quarterback?

Sometimes coaches make mistakes about quarterbacks. And getting four star recruits can be over-rated. It's not about how good you were in high school. It's about how good you are in college.
