Seems Fran goes after a number of big recruits, locks down the local recruits and then hands out a few scholarships based on traits and tries to turn those guys into football players. If they don't demonstrate potential, he'll recruit another class of kids the following year. Not a bad system. We didn't have to beat out Ohio State or Michigan for Malachi James or Ibn McDaniels.
