I remember when he was a recruit the concern was keeping him motivated and his motor.

Fast forward to this season and I see a kid who attacks the rim with wreckless abandon. There is no questioning his desire to score and win. Dude goes hard. He's been a joy to watch this season (as they all have). Definitely one of my favorite players. Truly hope, for completely selfish reasons, we can keep this kid around for another year or two. He has value all over the court.

Just felt like I needed to say it.

That one play was off the charts ... a dancing/magic act to get the ball back to TC.

He also had a couple nice acting jobs; the charge he drew near the sideline and the foul call he got when he was picked clean. It's nice we got some calls for once. :) In regards to his overall play, he's been fantastic after the early season struggles. He's able to get into the lane and break down the defense. Makes it easier on the rest of the guys.

And he played well against two of the most talented guards in the conference (Bacon and Beasley) ... who were slicing and dicing the zone in the first half. The killer bees are going to be very tough in Tallahassee.

Richardson has been everything that we could have hoped for, and more.

Sure he's been a bit inconsistent, but most frosh are. Kid has a much more well rounded / diversified game than many described coming out of high school.

I miss you.

That is my thoughts as well. I didn't think he was necessary bad in aspects as an all around player but I expected him to be much more of a shooting specialist to start his career and work things in from there. His driving/playmaking/passing/rebounding/hustle are all much more advanced than I expected.

He's a Kerry Kittles clone.

Great comparison, I was trying to think about someone the other day who he reminds me of, and Kittles name came to mind, maybe a little bit more athletic version of him.

I really really like how he is playing for us. I think I can count on one hand the number of times something bad has happened when he drives. He really has a knack for getting fouled, finishing or dishing and I am finding I have a lot of trust in him. He also seems to be able to make a play when needed at the end of games and the other players on our team look to get him the ball in tight situations and he responds. I love G, but I also love Malachi this year.

Kind of makes you wonder how reliable our fellow posters are with their high school game reports and opinions.

He is a stud. Just knows how to play the game and oozes talent. Hopefully he is here next year. We could be a final 4 team next year

To be fair when he first arrived he chucked a la BJ and that's about it. The talent was mostly there. He is now interested in defense and rebounding and has clearly inproved his handle.

Probably not too reliable, considering people who coach and scout for a living often get it wrong. But it's always interesting to read their opinions.
