At Duke whether he played much or not this season, weakened a conference opponent and got a player who played very well against them - double blow by Duke. Maliq had 17 games last year where he scored in double digits for us while averaging over 7 rebounds a game, overall averaging 9.5 points a game. He did, despite many comments on this board, have an offensive game too, that he really hasn’t shown at all at Duke. I do think he could have progressed offensively more at SU like he did over his 2 years here than at Duke. His choice though and hoping he recovers from his injury.
