Agreed on next year, I think its clear Bear would slide into Hiltz's spot, he seems like a bright kid so I am sure he realizes that. His dad may not love his PT or have thought ahead to next season but his son is a true freshman whose blocked by a 5th year senior who will at worst be an HM AA at the end of the season.

I do think Deere's prowess on GB's is helping to keep him in the starting lineup, he had another couple tonight including another one that showcased his slick stick kills. I think Bear playing the 2nd half of that Utah game maybe set some expectations that he would see some time there moving forward and instead Deere has playing 95% of the time.

I do wonder though again if Anderson would benefit from at least getting some 2nd mid line run if we're not gonna play him in some sort of a time share with Deere. McCarthy has really struggled to date and Bear getting a few runs a half seems more then reasonable especially when you saw what he did again tonight albeit in the 4th against Manhattan.
