Miami has been one of the best teams the last few years, and when it comes right down to it, they have the best player, which gives them a huge advantage, but it's not like they've been head and shoulders above the rest of the league during that time.  If they added Melo, they would continue to be one of the best teams in the league, but they'd still have issues at the point and against very good big guys.

As for Wade, my guess is Miami would love to be able to get rid of him after this season, but that's gonna be pretty difficult.
