Well we did ok without him for most of the year thankfully. We were 3-2 in games he played in and we were 6-1 without him. I know he alone wouldn’t determine wins or losses but that said - we were and will be okay.

Don’t forget Fran is a great recruiter and he will use Barnes as an example for other players looking to come to Syracuse to get on the field early and then get a bag from a factory in Yr 2-4.

Likewise will be getting second string QB/OL/DT from the factory schools who can’t get on the field after their freshman year. It works both ways.

We are middle tier in the food chain…we will get guys from lower tier schools and lose some to the big boys. Circle of life.
