In the Boeheim era, Syracuse is 6-2 in the NCAA tournament on March 18th.
2010-2011: W Indiana State 77-60
2004-2005: L Vermont 57-60
2003-2004: W BYU 80-75
2000-2001: L Kansas 58-87
1999-2000: W Kentucky 52-50
1989-1990: W Virginia 63-61
1983-1984: W VCU 78-63
1982-1983: W Morehead St. 74-59
Of course the one's that stick out are the Vermont game, GMac's 43 points against BYU, and Kansas thumping us in Allen Griffin's final game.
Some solid wins peppered in there as well, the Kentucky muckity muck before losing to Michigan State in the Sweet 16, and the win against UVA before the heartbreaker to Minnesota in the round of 16.
Hopefully we can add perhaps our most significant win on this date today. It's an uphill battle, but in March anything can happen!
