This Alabama sportswriter went as far as to say that THE FANS were responsible for the program being the way it was.  He said that if they didn't hero worship Paterno, he never would have had the power to begin with.  He also stated that Emmert has set himself a very dangerous precedent.  This guy had his heart in the right place, I guess, but could not present his point of view very well.  His statements made his points sound worse than what he actually meant.  Finebaum was left to translate and clean up the mess afterwards.  The guy did make a good point about the NCAA and PSU in regards to being more specific as to which children's charities the PSU fines would go to.  I think the guy felt that this was going to be another conspiracy.

I feel like my IQ dropped 20 points after that 10 minute segment.
