Once again as I watch part of th Marquette-ND game, I can't believe how the refs let the Marquette coach get away with directing traffic on the offensive WHILE STANDING IN THE PLAYING AREA! He clearly had both feet inside the court boundry as he point to where he want his players to go. Clearly should be a technical foul.

Add that to the list of things that the Big East has allowed to get out of control. Buzz really takes this way past the limit and abuses it, and the refs don't say a word. Dixon was out there a few times yesterday as well. It was mentioned on another thread but I would love to see a player just run right into him and get him tossed

He wouldn't get tossed but a technical would (I should say should,) be called.

Lavin has been doing it, too. I'd like to see a player run into a coach while the coach is on the floor, and force the refs to call a technical.

I think Burr warned Curley last night. Couldn't tell, had the sound down. What an attention seeking a**clown

Dixon was all over the court in our game with Pitt as well.

Curley and Pitino are the worst. Sometimes they're out at the 3 pt line while the game is going on and directing traffic. I can't believe the refs are allowing it. Is this happening in other conferences?

Opposing fans should bring laser pointers and every time he steps on the court - he ends up lighting up in red. Peashooters would be another alternative.

The laser pointers idea would work if the message got to the media.

It only takes a few technicals before a coach would get tossed.

Manhattan coach got two technical's against Iona in the Championship Game (Manhattan was only down by 4 when it happened) by Mike Kitts for being out of the coaching box. It changed the momentum of the game and Manhattan never came back. The coach's box tecnhical won't get you ejected (no matter how many) unless you do something else per the rules. Similar to defensive 3 second rule in the NBA.

Interfering with a player on the court is more than just "being out of the coaches' box".

Pitino has been the worst offender for years. I remember watching a game at the Garden years ago when he was like five or six feet on the floor when his team was on offense.

If they are on the court can't you just wipp the ball right off of their face? Would it be OB on them or an automatic T for them being on the court. If the refs won't call it this would cure the problem rather quickly.

a player needs to follow the lead of Jason Kidd and run into a coach who's on the court to draw a technical

was it buzz that shoved an offensive player down into the corner against us. I remember seeing this and was going to post about it a few games back, but also it could have been another team

i suppose as an opposing coach if i found it too distracting i would deliberately run a player into them.

That was Pitino and it was freaking ridiculous!

He was warned 2 times prior to the T. It was bound to happen.
