Marquez Hodge on crutches... was this reported already?

No. This is new business. :(

Zaire Franklin ... come on down...

Franklin looked very good on Saturday, definitely was one of our most highly regarded kids coming in. Now we obviously will need him. Next man up is getting closer and closer to walk on's

Something is going on. This is getting ridiculous. We were dropping like flies from the Villanova game so it's not like the competition is doing it to us. This isn't just a 2014 thing either. This is an annual problem for us.

Strength and conditioning staff needs a complete overhaul. Go back and look at the last few years most schools usually have one year where they are decimated by injuries were the exact opposite. 2009, 2011, 2014 all awful for injuries. We weren't exactly the poster child for a healthy program last year either.

At this point, I'm worried I'll tear my ACL just watching the Duke game this weekend

Broken hand more likely from punching the wall or splinters in the eye from throwing remote through the TV set.

Personally, I think it has something to do with how we changed our strength and conditioning in the off season. If you remember, coaches and players mentioned how they were training differently to prepare for a fast paced no huddle offense (which never appeared). What that entailed, I'm not sure.

You might be on to something here. It does seem that we are overmatched physically week to week.

Fort Drum should be canned maybe?

These injuries are ridiculous.

There could be something there, but how does that explain 2009, 2011, and last year?

Isn't this year worse than those? Maybe my memory is serving me wrong.

I don't know we have been blaming injuries as the reason for not making a bowl in 2011 and we were pretty banged up then. Seems like an annual thing though.

nothings going on... we are outclassed talent wise and when your consistently playing bigger faster better players you wind up with a team decimated with injury. It reminds me of when a couple of buddies and i played in a competitive flag football league a few years ago in Hoboken, NJ. Good idea, awful result. 2 ACL's and a couple of collarbones later playing against kids 10 years younger then us, we vowed never to take football seriouslyl again. Point being, when your playing against players who are moving faster and hitting harder than your comfortable with, injuries will happen

You could be onto something there, but even in the Villanova game I remember turning to the guy next to me and saying our guys were dropping like flies. We probably had 10 guys go down that game alone, while maybe a couple from their side went down. Plus it's not like Wake, Maryland, and NCST are that much bigger and stronger then us where they would be hurting us with their size.
