on the sidelines is kind of like triche's on the basketball court. I dont get why some people get worked up over this. Would you guys feel better if he was livid on the sidelines throwing water coolers and stuff to show you how pissed off he is/was during the game. I wouldn't id rather see him lead by example and rip the team a new new during practise.

I'd actually like to see him run across the field and give Schiano a swinging neck breaker and tombstone pile driver and finish him off a twist of fate ... then I would get pumped up. But in all sincerity I don't worry about his sideline demeanor ... that is what Brian Kelly gets negative publicity for. As long as he is lighting into them behind closed doors all is well IMHO.

Maybe not a great time to use Triche as an example because he played lousy on Saturday.

The thing with Marrone is that if he got fired up, his players might feed off of that. I'm not talking about negative emotions like throwing water coolers either.

Why not the best time to use triche as an example? his play is irrelevant because his emotions are the same.

Marrone seems all about protecting the players. He's not going to rip anyone on the sidelines; he's not going to single anyone out during press conferences; he's going to accept full responsibility for a loss and pass credit on to the team as a whole if they win. No unnecessary drama. I've been watching it for years with Andy Reid. With a college program, while it doesn't provide the sexy headlines, I respect this way of running a program. I have no doubt that he'll rip these guys behind closed doors if he has to though.

No, people get upset with Triche because he gets down on himself if he doesn't burst out of the gate firing.
