Every single press conference I've seen and every time I've heard him speak, I truthfully have come away with a very different opinion of Doug.  I think he was a very nice guy.  The battle he was facing when he arrived, he wasn't fully prepared for.  He was met with a lot of criticism over 4 years, from myself included.  In hindsight, I can say I wish I would have appreciated him more during his time at SU.  But to say he wasn't a nice guy is just conjecture.  Case in point... what kind of not nice guy cries at a press conference over the passing of Rob Edson after winning a big game.  The guy always was real.  Some people, like myself, prefer real over dealing with people like myself.
